Windows

How to install with the installer
1 Download and open the file
In the table, click “Download” next to the installer and start the file temia_aac_setup_1.0.0.exe with a double-click.
2 Confirm the Windows notice
On first launch, Windows SmartScreen reports an “Unknown publisher”, because the file is not signed with a paid certificate. Click “More info” and then “Run anyway”. The checksums below prove that the file comes from us unchanged.
3 Click through the wizard
The wizard detects your Windows language. Temia is installed for your user account only, without administrator rights. If you start the file as administrator, you can choose the Program Files folder instead. Afterwards you will find Temia in the Start menu.
macOS
For macOS 10.15 (Catalina) and later, on Macs with an Intel processor and with Apple silicon (M1 and later). The app is checked and notarised by Apple, so macOS opens it without a warning about unknown developers. Speech uses the voices installed in macOS and works without internet.
How to install Temia on a Mac
1 Download and open the disk image
In the table, click “Download” next to macOS and open the file Temia-AAC-1.0.0.dmg with a double-click.
2 Drag it into the Applications folder
In the window that opens, drag the Temia icon onto the Applications folder. Afterwards you can eject the disk image and delete the DMG file.
3 Start Temia
Open Temia from the Applications folder or from Launchpad. On first launch, macOS asks whether you want to open the app downloaded from the internet. Confirm with “Open”.
Checksums (SHA-256)
With these you can check after downloading that the file is unchanged. On a Mac in Terminal: shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/Temia-AAC-1.0.0.dmg. In PowerShell: Get-FileHash Downloads\temia_aac_setup_1.0.0.exe

In the browser – no download
Temia runs as a web app directly at temia.online – on Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook, Android and iPhone. After the first visit it also works offline. With “Add to Home Screen” or “Install app” in the browser it gets its own icon like an installed app.
